EAIC Synchronization

Administration > Maintenance > EAIC Synchronization

This screen is available when an Enterprise Application Integration Connector (EAIC) is applied to WorkPlace.  From this screen the Administrator can perform full table or table update synchronizations via the EAIC.  For example, the EAIC is configured to map a financial systems vendor table to WorkPlace's vendor table.  In this situation the administrator would see the vendor table listed, the administrator would then mark the "Full Synchronize" checkbox on that line and click "Synchronize and Update Selected Objects" which would then connect via the EAIC and fully re-synchronize the WorkPlace table with the connected application.  The EAIC Synchronization process captures a detailed log which can be viewed on this page or cleared by selecting the "Clear EAIC Log" button.  During the synchronization process, a progress window will be displayed with table level details on the current activity and the option to cancel after the current object is completed.
