Bin/Serial/Lot Entry

The Bin/Serial/Lot Entry window is available for all WorkPlace transactions that update inventory On Hand quantities when the Inventory Management solution is licensed.  If the Item on the transaction line is Serial or Lot tracked, this window will be available to enter or select the serial or lot numbers for the session line.  The user will not be able to submit the session until the total quantities entered in the Serial/Lot Entry window match the quantity for each session line that includes a Serial or Lot tracked item.  In these cases, the user will be prompted with a warning message that 'Serial/Lot Items allocated are not sufficient for the specified quantity to be shipped'.  Bin numbers can also be selected from this screen when Dynamics GP Inventory Control is configured for multiple bins.

When inventory quantities are increased, the user will manually enter the Serial or Lot number, Bin, Expiration Date and Quantity for the session line.  When this window is called from a WorkPlace transaction line that is pulling inventory out of stock (inventory quantities are decreased), the Serial/Lot and Bin number Zooms are available for the selection of Available numbers within the system.
