The mobile Adjustment page is available to WorkPlace users to use mobile handheld scanners for entry of Inventory Adjustment sessions through the Inventory Management Handheld Interface solution. Users must be provided access to the "Handheld" module and "Handheld Inventory Adjustment" options in WorkPlace Security.
Returns the user to the mobile dashboard page.
Processes the Inventory Adjustment session in WorkPlace. If any errors are encountered, they will be displayed on the screen prompting the user to correct them before the session can be processed.
Once the user has successfully added lines to the transaction, a session will be saved directly to WorkPlace. The associated session number will be displayed to the right of the Process button for reference.
Select a valid Inventory Adjustment Reason Code for the line to describe the purpose of the inventory adjustment. This field will be required if the System Setting "Require Reason Code" is checked.
This field is available when Intercompany is registered to scan or key the company that owns the inventory for adjustment. The Item Company will determine the Items that are valid and available for selection.
Scan or key in a valid location for the inventory adjustment. This is a required field and will default with the last entered location from the previous adjustment line.
Type in or scan a valid inventory item for the adjustment. Only quantity-tracked items are valid for entry or scan selection. Items can be entered or scanned by WorkPlace Item, Vendor Item or Manufacturer Item codes. When a Vendor or Manufacturer Item number "alias" is used for selection, the WorkPlace Item number will be returned and stored in this field.
This field becomes available and required for Serial or Lot tracked items to scan or key a serial or lot number for adjustment.
This field becomes available for Serial or Lot tracked items to scan or key a bin number.
This field becomes available for Serial or Lot tracked items to scan or key an expiration date.
The Unit of Measure will default to the stocking UoM for the selected item. The user has the option of selecting another unit of measure that is valid for the item.
Enter the quantity of the item to be adjusted within inventory. The quantity adjusted is required and will be subject to the quantity decimal precision setup for the item in Item Maintenance. Quantities adjusted into inventory are represented by a positive number and decrease adjustments are entered as a negative number. The quantity for a decrease adjustment must be less than or equal to the quantity on hand for the selected Item. When a serial tracked item is selected, only a value of 1 is permitted in this field.
The cost at which the inventory will be adjusted within the Inventory and General Ledgers. If no value is selected, the value will default to the current cost for the item and location when the line is added.
Validates the information entered and adds the adjustment to the Inventory Adjustment session. Upon successfully adding a line to the session, it is automatically updated and saved within WorkPlace and the Adjustment window updates to allow the user to select another item for adjustment.
Deletes the line from the session. If all lines are deleted from the session, the session is deleted and the user is returned to the mobile dashboard.
Displays the company for the session line when Intercompany is registered.
Displays the inventory location for the session line.
Displays the inventory item for the session line.
Displays the Serial or Lot number for serial lot tracked items.
Displays the Bin number if selected for serial lot tracked items.
Displays the expiration date if selected for serial lot tracked items.
Displays the unit of measure for the session line.
Displays the quantity for the session line.
Displays the cost at which the inventory will be adjusted. When decrease adjustments are processed, the unit cost will be updated based on the Item(s) valuation method defined in Item Maintenance to reflect the actual cost for the items removed from stock.
