WorkPlace provides a mobile-friendly dashboard option that provides an task-driven user experience with dynamic, user-tailored navigation menu, home page and user preferences optimized for touch screens. The Dashboard dynamically self-adjusts to the dimensions of the device screen size with portrait / landscape sensitivity on tablet devises.
The WorkPlace Toolbar displays a "Logout" button that can be used to return the user to the login screen. When the Navigation bar is collapsed due to the screen size (i.e. when accessing from a smart phone), the "Menu" button will be available at the top left of the screen to access the solution navigation options.
Upon logging into WorkPlace, the dashboard presents users with their personalized home screen with all their important information and action items across all functional areas at a glance. Items available for approval or review are listed in a dedicated To Do list section and all open transactions for the user across for all WorkPlace solutions are available at a glance. The Dashboard Home page also displays all WorkPlace Announcements, Catalogs and Metrics applicable to the user.
The User Preferences page allows users to further personalize their WorkPlace experience by selecting from a number of pre-defined page themes for their Dashboard as well as selecting their preferred date format for use throughout the WorkPlace solution. When the Dashboard is enabled, Approver options for activating, scheduling and displaying their alternates will be displayed here.
The Metrics tab provides users a centralized view to their assigned charts, graphs, tables and other KPI's at a single glance. By default, the first nine Metrics that the user has security permission to view will appear with the ability to filter them to select the ones that are most important to them.
The Administration page provides access to all setup and maintenance options and reports that are not specific to a WorkPlace solution. Administration items are typically available to system administrators based on their security.
The left-hand navigation menu displays solution menu options specific to the user based on their security configuration. Each tab will display a To Do section for transactions awaiting approval or review, outstanding transactions, Metrics, Reports and Maintenance options specific to that solution or functional area.
